Faults we handle

Most rooftop solar problems fall into a short list, and almost all of them are fixable in a single visit. Inverter faults — isolation errors, grid over-voltage trips, overheating shutdowns, DC arc warnings and display failures — are the most common call we get. Next comes soiling: a heavily dusted array in Ambattur or a salt-filmed one in Thiruvanmiyur can lose 15% to 25% of output before the owner notices.

After that come wiring and connector issues (loose MC4 connectors, rodent-damaged DC cable, corroded terminals, tripping AC breakers), structural problems (loose clamps, rusted sections, lifted modules after a storm), monitoring failures (datalogger offline after a Wi-Fi password change) and net-metering problems where the bidirectional meter was fixed but the tariff configuration was never updated at the section office — which leaves the bill unchanged despite a working plant.

If your original installer has stopped answering the phone, moved on or shut down, you are not stuck. We take on any branded rooftop system in Tamil Nadu regardless of who built it. The first visit includes a baseline audit — module condition, string voltages, insulation resistance, inverter logs, earthing and structure — so both sides know exactly what is being inherited before an AMC starts.

Where components are still under manufacturer warranty, we log and pursue the claim on your behalf with the diagnostics the manufacturer requires, and fit a temporary unit where possible so the plant keeps generating while the replacement is processed.

Pricing — reasonable, and quoted before we come

A one-time diagnostic site visit starts at Rs 1,500 within Chennai, which covers travel, inspection, testing and a written findings report. Any parts or repair work are quoted for your approval before we proceed — nothing is done and billed as a surprise. Visits outside Chennai are quoted with a distance allowance before dispatch.

Annual maintenance contracts for residential systems start at Rs 2,500 a year for a two-visit plan, with four-visit and six-visit plans available for larger or dustier sites. Commercial, industrial and housing-society plants are quoted per site after a walkthrough, since cleaning access and plant size drive the cost far more than capacity does.
