Who we are
GenSolar Energy is a Chennai-based rooftop solar EPC company. We design, supply, install and maintain grid-tied, hybrid and off-grid solar systems for homes, apartments, factories, commercial buildings and farms across Tamil Nadu. Over eleven years we have completed more than 1000 installations, from a single kilowatt on a terrace in Ambattur to hundred-kilowatt plants on industrial roofs in the Sriperumbudur and Oragadam belts.
The company was built around a simple observation: most customers do not abandon solar because of the technology, they abandon it because of the paperwork and the after-sales silence. So we kept installation crews in-house instead of subcontracting them, and we run the subsidy and net-metering process as part of the job rather than as the customer's problem. Share your roof photos and location and you get a fixed-price quote in about two hours; the physical installation is finished in 8 to 10 hours; PM Surya Ghar approval typically returns in 2 to 5 business days and TANGEDCO net metering in 2 to 10 days.
Our team
The team combines solar design engineers who size systems against your actual bill history, licensed electrical supervisors who sign off on earthing and protection, structural fabricators who build for coastal wind loads, and a dedicated liaison desk that does nothing but chase portal and section-office approvals. A service coordinator stays assigned to your site after commissioning, so the person who answers your call in year three already knows your system.

How we work
Every project follows the same five stages: a free site survey, a fixed-price design and quote with a subsidy projection, installation with documented torque and earthing checks, net metering and inspection, and then monitoring with quarterly performance checks for the first year. You receive geotagged installation photographs, a single-line diagram, warranty registrations in your name and app access to live generation data.
